Questions

Frequently asked

Do these figures need bookkeeping first?
No. Every payment taken, sale rung up and salary marked paid posts to the cashbook automatically, so the reports are current the moment money moves.
Is this a statutory income statement?
No, and it says so on the page and on every export. It is cash basis, a figure counts on the day money moved. There are no accruals, depreciation or opening balances, which is what an audited set of accounts needs.
What can I send my accountant?
Any report as CSV, an Excel workbook with the figures as real numbers, or a PDF statement. There is also a full cashbook export listing every entry with the record that caused it.
Does it work with QuickBooks or Xero?
Not directly. The exports are plain CSV and Excel, which import into either, and into the spreadsheet most accountants here actually use. A direct integration is something we build when a customer needs it.
