Legal Status Register
Every detention lawful, every review on time
Whether a patient may leave, who consents to their treatment and what must be reviewed by when all follow from their legal status. The register keeps it current and warns before a date is missed.

Questions
Frequently asked
What happens when a review date passes?
The patient is flagged as overdue on the register and the ward is warned in advance by a daily check, so a lapse is seen before it becomes unlawful detention.
Is the old status kept when it changes?
Yes. A conversion ends the previous status and starts the new one, so the history of every admission can be read back in order.
